Miranda Carrasco Signs for CF Unión Viera in Segunda RFEF

Spanish Soccer Trials is delighted to announce that, in partnership with IF6 Soccer Agency, Miranda Carrasco has signed her first professional contract in Spain with CF Unión Viera, competing in Segunda RFEF Group 3 Femenino for the 2026/27 season.

Miranda has already joined up with her new teammates in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands, as the club prepare to begin their season.

The Player

Miranda Carrasco is a fullback who completed her college career at Mississippi State University, competing in the SEC, one of the most competitive conferences in women's college soccer in the United States. During her time at Mississippi State, she contributed to some of the programme's most significant results, including NCAA Tournament appearances and SEC Conference Tournament qualifications.

Her path to professional football has not been straightforward. Two serious knee injuries in successive years presented significant setbacks, and a period away from the game followed her graduation. The decision to return to football and pursue an opportunity in Europe was not taken lightly. She had spent time working in the financial industry before making the commitment to give the game one more serious opportunity.

That decision brought her to Spain, a country she has a personal connection to through her family, and ultimately to the SST 2026 Women's Summer Showcase.

The Showcase

Miranda attended the SST 2026 Women's Summer Showcase in Málaga, the first female showcase this organisation has ever held. Across the showcase games against Granada, Almería and PFC, she produced a series of standout performances that demonstrated she had the level required to compete professionally in Spain.

The opportunity was always going to follow the performance. SST, working alongside Ismael and the team at IF6 Soccer Agency, facilitated the connection that led to her signing with CF Unión Viera ahead of the new season.

What Comes Next

CF Unión Viera are preparing to compete in Segunda RFEF Group 3, the third tier of women's football in Spain. It is a serious level and the right environment for Miranda to establish herself and build on everything that has brought her to this point.
